Thank you for the link. I had read those posts. It does not appear that the hard shell cover is still available, which is why I had asked if a soft cover would work as well. I think I will have to give it a try and post some non-scientific results.

About this Hummer wheel cover thing, would this only work with a rigid plastic wheel cover? Or would it work with a vinyl wheel cover as well? I would suspect that the aerodynamics would be improved either way. Any forum readers have experience with covering their underbody spare?

I have not had any issues with the cameras on my '23 Lariat. But I do live in the city, so it is never truly dark. And compared to my last car, Cayenne e-Hybrid, the Lightning cameras are a big step up. The Cayenne's backup camera was pretty much useless in any dark situation.

It is all about the range. Hybrid models are being advertised as to how much range they have, not their MPG. Because MPG is bad, but being able to drive for 8-10 hours without a brake makes perfect sense for people.
