Interestingly enough, both vehicles are being charged to 100%. I usually do that the day following, or sometimes 2, when I receive the messages (whenever I feel like my vehicle is at the lowest state of charge during that span. Strange then, that it sends 2 every month at 2 separate days. Also...
It's not a setting, it comes up in the messages area. I assume it's sent by Ford roughly every 30 days or so, or on the _th of each month, etc.
Not sure you can opt to change it, activate it, turn it off or anything.
OK, I will ignore the other 10 notifications for the Lightning, but I'll follow the Mach E still. Thanks for the info. It's strange that Ford sends these for my truck then....
I did open the PDF manual, also in the app, to verify what you are saying, and I can confirm that it is, indeed, saying...
I do have a standard range premium, however, I do get notifications for both vehicles at different times of the month, as stated above.
I see the messages when switching to one vehicle or the other at the main page. They come twice a month at separate times, so I believe it is one for each, do...
It's in the Ford app. It goes in the notifications area, like when a charge is completed, etc. Also, if the app is allowing notifications to your phone, it will show on your phone
Mine is a 24 Flash ER, and the window sticker said the estimated max range was 335 miles. I actually do have a mustang mach e as well. Both vehicles get the notification to charge tp 100%.. The lightning gets one on the 24th each month, the mach e comes on the 10th.
Usually the truck has 295 to...
After getting the monthly reminder to charge to 100%, I charged overnight since I was at 11%, I thought it was a perfect day to do it. The GOM was generous this time, giving me 327 miles! Woah! That is the most I have ever seen my dash display.
Yeah, I know I won't actually get that amount of...
I put a one of those 50 caliber bullet stubbies on mine. Am, Fm both tune like stock. Looks good, no problems with installation, just screws right on. It was about $20 on Amazon. No issues with clearance heights, just take a tap measure and remember your truck height measurement from the tallest...
I have a 24 Premium to go along with my 24 Flash Lightning . The wife drives the Mach E more than I do, but we both love the comfort and driving it is very enjoyable. I suggest the premium or higher because I found the interiors to be way more comfortable, although the cloth in the select isn't...
I guess I am a really big exception to all the economic situations then!? I live in CA, yes, expensive electricity, BUT WAY MORE EXPENSIVE gas, currently pushing $6/gal....normally around $4.5/gal. I drive a F150 Lightning about 300 miles a week and charge it nearly exclusively overnight because...
I glanced at the tools she was using. It was a laptop and ODB 2 type dongle with a cord directly to a USB C port. I thought about probing a bit and asking what other 'cool' things that she could do with those, but I thought I would be better off not.
Maybe if they send the same tech next visit I...
Had a really good experience with Ford Mobile Service today. The technican, Delilah, showed up on time to do a software update for the parking brake recall. She was fast, friendly and efficient. She had actually been scheduled for my F150 Lightning for today, but she noticed that my Mach E was...
Recently drove my daughter's car from Seattle to California, it's ICE, man I didn't even realize how much gas stations stink! Every time I stopped to fill up it reminds me of how many benefits BEV have. No stinky winky.
The wife and I had always had Toyota vehicles, loved then, and still do, but....
I am a traveling vehicle inspector in CA, and I often rack up 200 miles in a day, the wife travels 50 miles a day to work, and CA gas prices are ridiculous. We did the math, and we basically worked it out that we...
Awesome!
I actually have seen quite a few people buy one, then the other like we did because of how great their 1st vehicle experience is. I admit that there is more to set up and learn buying EVs, but once you get everything set, ownership is great, easy, and economical.
Congrats on your 2...
There is a potential for software learning I would suspect, but I also suspect that at least part of it could be that you are not using brand new tires anymore. The stock tires a what many dealerships call 'softies', which are super grippy and soft for extra performance and quiet ride, which...
