  1. Eibach lift kit installed

I’ve always thought the Lightning rode a little soft, especially in the front end and at higher speeds. The lift kit with the new shocks and springs certainly tightened all of that up. The handling is a lot more responsive. I might feel a little bit more of the bumps on the road, but maybe...
  2. Eibach lift kit installed

Rides more like a truck now, doesn’t have that feeling that I’m in an early 2000’s Lincoln Town Car floating on air shocks. It’s snappier and feels a little more responsive.
  3. Eibach lift kit installed

Finally got the Eibach lift kit installed yesterday. Did both front and rear and brought up the rear by about 1/2ā€ and the front by about 3ā€. Loving the ride difference so far and I have about 30K miles on the truck now. I have a set of brand new Ford Tremor 18ā€ wheels/tires taken off a new...
  4. 2.6 M/Kwh not possible?

I’ve been driving my Lightning for about 18 months now, and one thing that I have noticed on my daily trip is that I never can achieve 2.6M/KWh. I can do 2.5, I can do 2.7, but the truck will never show 2.6. Why? Antone else notice this?
  5. I damaged my air dam in the snow…is it needed?

After driving around in the snow and negative temps for a while and not having any issues, I managed to rip the air dam off the front of my truck pulling in the driveway busting through the mess left by the snow plow. Do the 2024 Lightning Flash’s have the variable air dam? Do I REALLY need...
  6. Windy road trip 40MPH Headwinds

That was the challenge. Stop in Nevada or stop in Joplin. SW Missouri isn’t very populated with DCFC’s (or population either) so I had to do what I had to do. I planned it all out ahead of time.
  7. Windy road trip 40MPH Headwinds

I bought by 2024 Flash back in November of 2024, but today was the first time I took it on a longer road trip. I was heading from just west of Kansas City to Rogers, AR a distance of only 236 miles. My original plan was to stop in Joplin, MO and hit a Supercharger to top off the battery before...
  8. Cold Commute this AM

Thought I’d share some real world numbers from this mornings very cold commute to the office. It was -9F this morning. Truck sat outside all night plugged in and I had the charger set for 80% charge. Departure time was 0700 and I didn’t get in to leave until I was notified it was ready. 27...
  9. It’s a snow machine

We had about 16ā€ of snow here in outside KC where I live, and after driving in it and the subsequent days during all the cleanup I can honestly say that this truck is a beast In the snow. The extra weight of the battery and the fact that it’s mostly centered on the frame results in some amazing...

  13. New 2024 F150 Flash

Like many others, I took advantage of all of the rebates and the 0% financing on the F150 Lightnings. It also helped to have a kid who works for Ford so I got to use his discount as well. This was bought to replace my ICE 2016 F150 MVP Edition which was getting up there in the miles for me. I...
