  1. Buying used, what to look out for?

I'd look for a 2024 Flash. No sunroof so no leaks, bigly battery, can get the pro power thingy for 240v output (which is great for backing up your house). 2022-2023 had some battery issues. Really the best product out there IMO
  2. Have a 12v fridge you like?

I can certainly understand for ice cream.
  3. Have a 12v fridge you like?

Yeah I could see in a semi. That is much different than a tripe once or twice a year. You live in that thing.
  4. Have a 12v fridge you like?

Serious question.... I have a Yeti and a Bison Cooler that I use for for trips. I usually use one or the other (Yeti 45 vs Bison 50). I find these to be much better as I really only need to add ice after 3-4 days. These also do not require the compressor space. So with this said, why would...

  6. Tough decision….but its time….

If Rivian would ever put a 240v output in their bed (or hell, frunk), I think I would follow your path very soon after. As mentioned above, certainly do a follow up.
  7. Navigation subscription surprise

It's actually impressive that Ford wants to charge for this. They should really have this be free to get more data, and get more people using it. Then it would help create an actual useable product and could start charging something small, like $1.99/mo, then as it continues to get better...
  8. Tesla Supercharger PSA

Yes, but VW didn't own like 90% of the market at that time. Tesla doesn't own 90% now, but they certainly did at one point, and they also were installing superchargers. Then VW (directly/indirectly) started installing superchargers and they did the same type of install that Tesla did. If any one...
  9. Tesla Supercharger PSA

I forgot all the trailers being towed that I see….. Obviously a regular gas station type of chargers handles this. When have you seen a ICE vehicle have the gas tank filler located where our charge ports are located? They are all located in the rear
  10. Tesla Supercharger PSA

Still kind of a shame Ford (and others) haven't just put the charge port in the rear like Tesla does. I do have hopes that in the future all of this will be standardized. Thanks for this post as I didn't know of the v4 being rolled out and how they look different. Good on Tesla doing a...
  11. Lightning saves the day at school carnival

It's honestly surprising how popular ice cream is during the summer up there.....
  12. Hertz Shelby Mustang Mach-Es Look Tempting After $25,000 Price Drop

I don't see the rally version available. That one would be nice to have. As for the GT versions, the problem with those is the Tesla Model Y is damn cheap brand new, and I know Tesla won't be cancelling those anytime soon.
  13. Dog setting

Take your key with and lock it. As for the setting, I think it's the top setting under 'vehicle' so it doesn't shut down after 30 minutes. Another option is just to open the Power app (whatever it's called) and turn on power to the bed. If your windows aren't tinted, you might also want to...
  14. Introducing the All-New BAKFlip MX4 EZ-Lift Tonneau Cover

I guess this was the reason for the recent sale? Not saying it's not a good thing to do, just guessing/speculating
  15. WSJ Article

The faster we all move to NACS, the faster people will move to EV's. It's just one more complication that will help remove the barrier to entry. Obviously we are all fine with CCS and an adapter, but people like my mom or wife don't want to deal with that. They want to just pull up to a place...
  16. After 2 years it finally happened. Bricked/Ran out of juice in rush hour traffic with wife & dogs onboard

always felt the same, even with ICE. I get too nervous to run my vehicles under the 1/8th mark.
  17. 2024 - 2025 Gang - New Complimentary BlueCruise Trial April 2026

Isn't Full Self Drive $100/mo? Why would anyone pay for something that isn't anywhere close to that for $50/mo? I guess if you're always driving on a specific road that is included, but that isn't going to be the majority of users.
  18. Q1 2026 Forum Survey Results (And what we're doing next)

Camp Mode and Dog Mode are kind of required at this point for EV's. You have a fantastic truck. I really wish you were still making it. You really need to review your initial 25k/yr plans, then because of social media you raised it to 100k/yr and invested a bunch of money into expanding...
