Lightning Mike has a 6 part series documenting the repair of his Lightning after a deer strike. Might give you an idea comparing his damage to yours.
Here's his final video with the repaired truck.
As Lightning production has turned off, it becomes more important to repair and keep these...
Moving away from the PPOB and Lighting. To the home powering solution aspect.
The article and YouTube video make the same point. Home powering solutions for renters and apartments has a market gap for those products to fill.
The Pila battery and Brightsaver solar panel feeding into the 120v...
Saw this interesting product on the news.
DIY solar panel kit plugging into the 120v home outlet. That way home owners don't need an expensive electrical upgrade to offset a small portion of their electrical usage. The kit comes in 180W and 360W output...
Have you watched Robert's great entertaining video on EV truck towing? Not to persuade you to join the SilveradoEV side, but should give you a baseline of what EV truck towing is like.
If you want to watch EV Lightning towing, e-Hermes did several towing camping trip videos on his experience...
Something to keep in mind. I activated Plug N Charge this week because of the recent attention reminded me of it.
Went to EA and plugged in to charge. Activated it with the EA app. I also have an EA subscription for the discount.
Afterwards got a Ford app notification that my FordPass was...

That's why it's an experiment. Watch the experiment and be present to ensure there isn't failure. Then step-by-step build experimental complexity on wins.
Again, I'm emphasizing not coming to my own conclusion without the observed data. We can have a hypothesis and mitigate any potential...
I'm interested to see if the feature works in my camping use case. I have a mini-fridge, insta pot and a fan.
I'm of the opinion, test and experiment first, then analyze the results before coming to a conclusion.
Thank you Ford for continuing to improve the truck and supporting it.
Here is my documentation of the replacement. Mine was warranty replaced. I did not have any rubber seal protectant on it.
With the new rubber seal, I used some 3-in-1 RV rubber seal protector product on all the seals. Hoping to avoid the same dry rot. Rubber seals have held up so far...
Look up "14-Hour Power Cut: Did the F-150 Lightning's Home Backup ACTUALLY WORK?" on YouTube.
She's had an ongoing multi-year saga of the HIS not working. Sounds like it's actually up and running now.
Li battery degradation is non-linear. See the graph in "The Science" section of this article. Meaning a "X% per year battery loss" interpretation is incorrect.
All we can say is EV batteries drop off for a bit at the beginning, then hold steady for a very long time...
Thanks for looking into it!
I did a quick search also and found 3-phase EV chargers like Enphase that are meant for Europe or Australia.
Leads to an interesting question: Will Voltu sell their own proprietary EV charger to use with the truck's charging technology?
I guess time will tell.
There's some more pictures in the City of Riverside announcement.

That is interesting! Sounds similar to the Ioniq5/EV9 engineering wizardry to boost the voltage.
Munro Live video explaining it...
