curious (i know nothing, i got a comma4 and nearly run defaults) - the models that are openpilot only, do these become avail on bluepilot when there's new releases, or models are too hardware dependent and it "really depends"?
Then if thats the case, do folks attempt to collect data from...
ended up with the Leer, at that price it was hard to pass.
Pros:
- less than 400usd
- tail light and camera work when propped up
- cant slam it into the rear window
- seals are pretty good other than the tailgate for which you need a separate seal kit for any of them afaik (its still fine, but...
"cyber truck demand crashes biggest flop ever"
"silverado sales a bit down"
yet cyber truck ships twice as many lol. but yeh none are a good lightning alternative imo. different trucks
i was worried about the "slow" fast charging but for me it ended up being a non issue. on trips where i need it I want a real pause anyway, like 25min, not 10.
ive also noticed that i tend to charge faster than most, probably because i charge at 20-50% to whatever i need (usually 70+) which is...
looks pretty nice, though these
I'm quite curious about this. How do you exactly keep it partially open? Say if you have a few 2x4 in the bed sticking out over the tailgate, the 2x4 prevent it from unrolling? (driving slow i imagine?)
thx!
Its a nice implementation, but for the price, since you need to plug it in your bed.. and be CLOSE to the meter., its not all that convenient. Might as well has a regular generator switch, which doesnt need to be that close, and hit the switch + plug the plug (vs just plug the plug) IMO.
What...
i bought a used one a week ago and honestly theres very few new one left. a lot of listings are fake. imo ford should ban dealerships doing bait and switch from using their names, but what do i know
My used truck actually came with another variant of the T3 (its rebranded a bit everywhere). its.. functional. But it is not safe (you can slash it easily), its not a great mechanism (you have to remove 2 clamps to move it) and the fabric moves at speed, which im sure isnt great for range. Also...
interesting..i think im partial to the cap or cover rather than boxes then i always put different things in. but im curious about cap efficiency now .my understanding was that they all cut some range between weight and how truck aerodynamics work (thats why the cybertruck is slopped down, the...
all of them have trade off, all the expensive ones (1k+) looks nice anyway, and it seems you'd want to use them for a month before you know if it fits your use cases haha.
i used to have a cap on a t100 so no range problem or space problems, but on the lightning im afraid it cuts the range too...
I got a used f150 lightning with a work surface and it has deeeep scratches. It looks like the replacement parts are around 400-500 USD for both panels. Wondering if anyone ever fixed these (e.g. fill in scratches, sand + 3m 2080 wrap, or found cheaper work surface lids replacements.
