  1. BlueCruise renewal.... free????

I checked and I got the same thing as well. 50% off for 3 months if I sign up on the monthly plan; 50% off the annual for 1 year if I sign up for that. I may get it for the year as I have a few long distance drives planned coming up. Definitely not as good as Free but better than full price...
  2. Next After Lightning - Toyota Highlander BEV?

I would probably lean towards the Subaru version. We had a few fairly bad experiences dealing with Toyota and their dealer network fairly consistently. While most dealerships are usually willing to deal and negotiate, all of the Toyota dealerships we've ever visited were nothing but greedy. They...
  3. How to lower a 2025 Flash to fit in a carport?

If it's something worth considering, you could get a suspension kit to lower the truck by about 1/2" while keeping or improving overall handling. In terms of weight to bring down the rear, I had over 1500lb in gravel in the bed a month ago and that lowered things down about a half inch to an...
  4. Drop in bed liner is hard to clean out

I have spray in bed liner and works great most of the time. Texture is decent and helps to keep most loads fairly static when otherwise on the move. Did a load of gravel not too long ago (she's a beast when hauling, couldn't feel a thing) and went with the tarp route. Cheap enough to get a...
  5. Frunk Ventilation

Going to echo everyone else above me: not a good idea. That area was not designed, or intended, for any sort of use like what you want to use it for. Better way would be to build an insulated enclosure with the proper one-way airflow to promote clean combustion in the bed of the truck. Off the...
  6. Anyone charging an external battery system with your EVSE (EV charger)?

Don't see why not it's not possible. EVSE is a power delivery system but relies on the destination system to manage the power input. It would be no different than having a battery bank hooked up to an inverter to draw power from the grid during your low price times and feed your house during...
  7. Audio off. Volume knob does nothing

You may want to try charging your 12V using a maintainer. I had a similar issue and the issue solved itself when I charged up the LVB overnight. No issue since. I chalked it up to the 12V battery being too low SoC to boot up the audio modules.
  8. tesla adapter

+1 on A2Z. Have both the Typhoon Pro and stellar adapters and both work flawlessly on both the truck and the wife's Q6. Don't risk your truck with knock off adapters. Saving a few bucks now might cost you way more later.
  9. Fixed running boards V.S. electric running boards. Your choice?

Not convinced on powered running boards, especially for those like me who get thick ice, snow, slush, and salt that just gets everywhere in the winter. As much as I would love to go with powered boards, I just can't justify them when I know they're probably going to die in a couple years at the...
  10. If you run the battery to 0% SOC - lessons learned, the cliff notes version

Great write up and guideance. Sorry you had to go through it on our behalf, but I'm sure it made you a better person because of it!
  11. South West Ontario Meet-up - July 5th 1PM

If there's anyone interested in joining the convoy and are starting at/near Newmarket or coming down from Barrie, I will be heading out at 10am from MTO Carpool Lot 160 off Davis/HWY 400. Maybe we can put Bluecruise to work!
  12. Southwestern Ontario (Canada) meet up?

I am so down for this!
  13. Anyone try converting to a stalk shifter like the newer Mach E?

Still waiting for them to release a column shifter that supports power tilt. Would buy that up tomorrow if it was available.
  14. Thoughts on Tron themed graphics

I'd be down for this with a small change. Instead of the circuit lines being visible, I would want to do them stealth, sort of like the stealth police decals, that only show up when light is on it. Preserve the look of the traditional truck while showing off a little pizzaz at night.
  15. Looking for a factory 9.6 kW Pro Power owner willing to provide Info

This is me, but I have no idea how to get what you're looking for. If you have instructions, I can try to help!
  16. New tire recommendation for 23 Lightning Lariat - Range and Noise higher priority

Don't get me wrong, the stock Hankook Dynapros were great for me, had about 40,000km on them and still had about 6mm of tread left; could have easily gotten another 40,000km out of them before I would have to replace. What I meant by that comment was that OEM tires are usually not as good in...
  17. New tire recommendation for 23 Lightning Lariat - Range and Noise higher priority

+1 for the Hankook iON for my '24 Lariat; recently replaced my OEM Dynapro AT2's for the iONs and it's a night and day difference. Ride is smoother, more responsive, stiffer, quiet. My wife commented how much quieter it was than the OEM tires. I personally do not do any off roading, the most I...
  18. I took the bait and switched to Hankook Ion HT tires

I also recently picked up a set of these tires for my '24 Lariat. Ride has improved signifcantly over the stock Dynapros. Smoother, quieter, stiffer ride. Great first impressions and really happy I went with these. I'm very much a Continental person these iONs were nearly $200/tire cheaper for...
  19. Have a 12v fridge you like?

I have a cheap Woods 12V cooler/fridge that I picked up last summer and have it strapped in the frunk or in the back of the cab when we go on trips. Changed my life being able to bring along things that needed steady refrigeration rather than relying on a cooler with ice packs. This will use...
