  1. 25SB6/25V731 Rear Lightbar Inspection: Parts Available #73

Good news then. I hope you get your light bar replacement in a reasonable time. Mine so far is holding up….dry.!!! I drove thru some torrential downpour and overnight thunderstorms. Hopefully this recall fixes this issue with the light bars.
  2. 25SB6/25V731 Rear Lightbar Inspection: Parts Available #73

Your dealer may have the light bar on hand but they may not have the attachment hardware that Ford calls out for the replacement. Your dealer may thought that they can use the existing hardware. That is not the case any more. Selling it to Ford with the existing hardware would not pass the...
  3. Flat towing a lightning behind a motorized RV?

You are not the first asking this question. I wanted to flat tow my Mach E with a Class A motorized RV. You cannot do it with any EV in the market presently. You can put your vehicle on a tow trailer though. All four wheels on the trailer. It is also true for most of the ICE vehicles also. I...
  4. 5000 Mile road trip - my random thoughts.

Looks like you had a good trip and enjoyed it without any worries of where to charge. Range anxiety was not the issue. Thank for sharing this story with us. As long as the price of gas and diesel stays above $4, especially in New England which can be as high as $5, the smart and able will look...
  5. Another reason I love my Lightning

One the many who love our Lightnings and what the truck brings to us. It is this love that makes us to share great stories about our lives and the things we do that matter to us. Thank you for sharing this unique story. Good luck.
  6. Random thought about the rear lightbar replacement

This is my experience with my 4th light bar replacement. The folks in this forum are here to share their thoughts of their lightnings, good and bad, to anyone who asks for info to any issues they might have. No criticism. Back to my experience now. Yes, I did receive the recall letter, the...
  7. 25SB6/25V731 Rear Lightbar Inspection: Parts Available #73

Today was the day when I received my truck from the dealer. They took my truck in the day before. Wednesday the 15th by the end of the day, I had no call as to what was going on. Today, the 16th, I got my answer as to what was going on. Apparently the dealer had to order few things to satisfy...
  8. My Lightning’s battery capacitance, SOC after 4 years, 51+K with moderate towing and supercharging on long trips.

Thank you. Making a mental note to observe what the truck is doing and it will do in the future. I am planning a trip to Colorado pulling my camper so my attention will be focused onto those numbers.
  9. My Lightning’s battery capacitance, SOC after 4 years, 51+K with moderate towing and supercharging on long trips.

Since I have retired, I have been using the my Lightning traveling while towing my 6000lbs camper to long trips across the SE and Gulf region regularly. During short trips to the mountains and to the Atlantic coast, I plug in my OBD2 device and connect to my Car Scanner app thru my I phone. I...
  10. Anyone Have Trouble with Their A2Z adapter?

Try plugging in the adaptor first to the truck’s port and then the NACS cable. If that works then you’re all set. If it is not working then definitely A2Z will replace it for you. I had one of the first batch of adaptors also, which after a 6 month period of heavy supercharging failed during...
  11. [Feature Rollout] Pro Power Onboard with Vehicle Off

How about a pet mode feature for our trucks and Mach Es, Brian? We have been asking for quite some time.
  12. 1Pedal mode causes rear rotor rust

I understand. My intention was not to be hard on the dealer. You found an amicable solution. You said it was due to an inspection. Since where I reside, we don’t have any inspections done to our vehicles, how that inspection goes for an EV? I expect the usual, for the necessary systems to...
  13. 1Pedal mode causes rear rotor rust

If that is the case, why they didn’t rotate/spin them in place and clean them out. They can do that for ICE vehicles. Those disks look rough but they can clean them but the service department is looking for extra revenue.
  14. My 2022 F150 Lightning is now officially an EREV, thanks to EverDrive!

I did watch the video. Anything helps even if it is 1 mile additional per KW. The price is intriguing. Show me more. By the way, I can install all of this myself. As I said. I am interested. Show me more.
  15. My 2022 F150 Lightning is now officially an EREV, thanks to EverDrive!

Excellent, I can’t wait to see it. I am interested.
  16. My 2022 F150 Lightning is now officially an EREV, thanks to EverDrive!

Either way, whatever this thing is, show me what it is so I don’t have to speculate. When we know what this is all about, then all of us can make informative decisions.
  17. My 2022 F150 Lightning is now officially an EREV, thanks to EverDrive!

Couple dedicated smart engineers developed a system to increase the range of the Lightning trucks. I expected that would happen sooner than later. It is great that we have that option if we are willing to pay for that innovation. We don’t know what this Ever Drive looks like. I am guessing...
  18. Cross Country Trip with Moving Trailer

James…don’t be afraid. Do your planning, pick your locations every 100 miles, choose your alternates if they are close to each other and maintain your speed at 60 mph. Don’t know what this moving trailer looks like but if it is a UHaul look alike, rectangular brick, you may have to slow down to...
  19. Ice vehicles suck

Hard to believe that most of us have adjusted to 1PD. To me is liberating experience, and the best way to extend the life of the brakes past 100000 miles. Regenaration braking at its best.
  20. Ice vehicles suck

The feelings are mutual, brother Rick. The smile returns to my face almost immediately upon starting my EVs.
