Yeah, the Martin Rebuilds offer seems like the next battery change in a few years. So far my H4 is not old but is holding up just fine. The winter will be the real test tho. But will allow me to run my winch with no problems.

I guess driving behind a 80,000 lbs truck the whole way down may have helped as well. Remembering Myth Busters, I doubt it was that much. I keep a safe distance and had many times when someone got between us.

Especially accelerating! One also has to factor in what their time is worth to them. I saw a recent Reddit thread in the EVs subreddit about EV drivers obsessing over efficiency and how many times it's not worth losing sleep (or time) over. Costing oneself 1 hour to save $5 isn't worth it to me...
