OK not a clean look from the side and really couldn't see keeping them at that price. I may explore the XL boards at some later point since that big chunk might provide more coverage of the "battery belly". Now I'm on the hunt for some OE style fender flares to match up with a set of 22 x 9.5...
I just ordered the "smart series" powerstep that looks to be closer to the XL step in size but without the big rock runner section. They also appear to have more of an angled closed position. I'll post some pics when they are installed. I have similar concerns about the side view and showing...
It's.a problem for sure. My truck is very finicky about the departure time thing and half the time the app won't refresh or give you the notifications that it's supposed to. @Ford Motor Company really needs to create a stand alone app for the BEVs or just prioritize their software division.
Have any of you deleted the charging location and then tried setting up departure times with a new “home”? My truck arbitrarily lost my departure schedule one very cold morning. It was showing on the app but when I checked it in the truck it was completely blank. So I reset my home charging...
... I think we all get the point that there is some benefit if you need the extra range and from my experience the preconditioning using the scheduled departure has the same impact as just doing a remote start and letting it run for 10-15 minutes. This is under mild cold conditions though (40 -...
Yeah. Glitch. I hate to break it to you guys but the truck frequently fails to reset the miles traveled on the trip meter and then calculates some outrageous mi/Kwh numbers. I understand that this glitch has conveniently been around since the early days of the MME and still hasn't been fixed...
I thought that the Lightning was supposed to be Ford EV 2.0 but I keep hearing all of these software glitches are holdovers from the MME. This one and the THIS TRIP mileage auto reset. Software update @Ford Motor Company ?
There is a feature that warns the driver of the truck that there may be someone in the back seat (triggered by the opening / closing of the rear doors) when you shut off the truck. This feature can be disabled in settings and when you do this it gives a disclaimer that the truck will remind you...
So, this is a minor annoyance, but I have shut off the rear occupant warning and EVERY time I start up the truck it asks me if I want to keep this warning off. I thought the system was supposed to offer this reminder like 2 times a year or something. Not every time I get in it!
So my frunk opens about 50 % of the time. It will do the initial release and then bounce a bit but not open. I have to push it closed and then repeat the opening and it will usually go after that. Also has anybody else noticed the rough looking plastic on the under side of the frunk closest...
