I am not saying this will work but there is a frame member directly connected to the jack point frame member that you might be able to use. I am not a stress analysis engineer so it may not be a good idea considering all the rules about jacking up an electric vehicle. But I think I would try it...
That is ok but consider this. Many times you can get a deal on four tires, buy three get the fourth free, and you have to make two trips instead of one, and usually the four tires are near the life span anyway. Just replace all four at once and be done with it and save a day of your life.
I do not see how software could cause a shutdown. The current limit is set physically on the box. I tried to set it lower and I still had the problem so I set it back to 7 or80 amps and now it seems to work better. At least it does not stay yellow, somehow it goes back to charging. But a night...
I started this thread and there are many good suggestions. Here are my thoughts. If Ford made the charge station pro to operate at 80 amps, it should operate at 80 amps. Period. Next, each installation is different so I can understand some minor problems, but the charge pro should operate at 80...
Bsull, that is not what happened to me. Mine charged for a while, then went to yellow. I have tried to load the software to the Pro station but it will not work for me. Maybe I am doing something wrong. The past few days have been cooler here and I have not had the problem.
OK I think I understand. Because, when I charge my MachE the Charge Pro does not fail, and the MachE charges at a lower rate than the Lightning. I guess I have no choice but to reduce the charge rate to 60 amps during the summer or air condition my garage.
Thank you everyone for your suggestions. Tasmanjog, where is that screen? Does the Carge Station Pro have software that I should download? How? Or is the software on my truck or on line or on the Ford Pass? As for lowering the amp charge rate, that is not acceptable. If Ford makes a charger for...
This has happened to me twice now and I am concerned. I plug in my Lightning and the next morning it only has 100 miles of charge because the yellow light is on the Charge Station. I reset the circuit breaker and it works...for a while. But then it works reliably. It is hot in the garage...
You did not buy from the wrong company. It took me two months to get my Tesla 3 fixed and now I am a happy owner of a Lightning and a Mache. Yours is a personal attack on Ford and I think one that most of us could handle. Take a deep breath and calm down and realize that the world does not...
I now own a 2023 Lightning and Mache. I first bought the Tesla 3 and Y in 2021. Here is what I can tell you about the Tesla. The interior material and construction is very poor. I wonder how this guy in the video managed to get into and out of his Tesla without pulling the door post trim off (he...
