I believe someone on this thread faced the same issue and had to replace the cameras from the original mirrors. That's what I did with mine and didn't face any issues.

I thought of doing that when I replaced mine, but it's not only about the motor, the connectors are different. So to avoid the headache just found a pair of mirrors of ebay and sold the manual ones.

Thanks @VenomVol for the info. I just turned my XLT mirrors to power fold, no more using a grab stick to fold my mirrors ??

This is awesome. I am planning to do the same on my lightning XLT. Did you have to run the wires cross the dash or just replace the one that plugs into the mirror and goes through the door? Which harness option did you buy, the first one around $140 or so?
