How did it play out with the gear shifter breaking? Will it eventually just not shift into gear and I’ll be stranded?

I just went and tried to fold down the shifter in my truck, which I never do normally, and it wouldn’t work. Can hear a click where it’s trying to stow away and then it does nothing. So I’m certainly thinking it’s the shifter. Question is, how confident can I be using the truck in the meantime...

Followed the link in your signature, logged in and it said 02/27/2025 Sync 4, do I need to actually go in the truck for a more accurate one maybe?

Did I say anything about lemon laws in Canada? I said the truck is a lemon. I can attempt to initiate a buyback with the dealership despite the lack of lemon laws too. Again, multiple people agree that you are less than helpful. Find somewhere else to spread your incredible knowledge please.

Thank you for taking the time to reply. I tried every possible combination on every charger. Nothing would work. I too have had issues like that but never had the red ring on the charging port. I’m a believer of the simplest explanation usually being the correct one and I just doubt that both...

Thanks Grumpy, no further info yet. I had to call the dealership and explain that the AC and DC charging systems are basically separate systems. Then they kept repeatedly asking me if I was using “my own cord” on the DCFC that wouldn’t work. Not exactly questions that inspire confidence.

Oh do I? When people post useless replies about lemon laws and how their trucks are amazing machines that nothing could ever go wrong with it’s a bit much for me. Try taking a balanced approach. They’re great trucks and things can go wrong with them. Like the one clown in this thread telling me...
