Best April Fools ever. Had me wait two years for a $40k truck. Nice one, Ford.
I put $2k and a couple weekends into reviving my old 1st gen Tacoma that'd been rotting under a tree and spent the other $30k on a new to me boat. Still got $8k left over for gas.
I had a half hour test drive in an F150 Lariat yesterday. Just to set some context, as it’s important in reviews IMO: I’ve driven and owned quite a few vehicles in my life (including 18 months as a Zamboni and shuttle van driver), but a full size pickup is not one of them.
I sat in a Pro...
Since I have no idea if I'll get to order this year or not, and our Porsche SUV that we don't like a whole lot seems to be worth good money right now, and our old Subaru isn't 100% trustworthy, wondering if it might be wise to reserve a Maverick in case I don't get a Lightning anytime soon...
I've owned a Transit XLT since 2016 but was never interested in the F150. Just want an EV that can actually haul stuff and this is the first one that can do that so here I am. Since ordering is happening soon, I went and sat in an XLT and Lariat gas F150 (well, Lariat was a PowerBoost hybrid)...
My buddy reserved right after the launch... I reserved a week after the launch (was out in the woods camping...). He's decided to pass for now. Is there some way to work this reservation so I use his place in line? or is it going to get really complicated because of the EV tax credit and such?
Wondering if anyone has input on mud and the interior options. XLT with cloth seats is closer to what I want to spend, but my Transit with black cloth seats has not fared well at all. My GTI with black leather is at least not gross. Looks like some of the leather might be perforated? butt...
