Like pioneer said, max tow on BOTH ICE and lightning have larger rear calipers and rotors
Gotcha. But it's the fronts that are probably still the constraint to wheel size, right?

Perhaps. I can confirm that the gap
Is close enough that the wheel weights must be “ strategically” placed to avoid caliper contact

I know this is an ol

I know this is an old thread but just wanted to throw my situation in the mix:
this past weekend I installed:
  • 17”x8.5” Anthem Off-road wheels with offset of “0”
  • 285/75R17 Nitto Recon Grapplers (34”OD)
  • 2.3” offset leveling kit from stage3motorsports
Truck is a Lariat ER with Max Tow Package

I have NO fitment issues, NO rubbing. I did not have to cut anything, and my speedometer shows 69 when gps shows 70. Running 60 PSI currently (80psi is the tire max rating) and the ride is almost like it was when I had the stock 20” wheels and 265/60R20 tires. a tad bit rougher but not bad at all to be honest. I was at 42 psi and the ride was a little more cushion-y but the range seems worse. I don’t have enough miles to tell you the range i’m getting but seems like i’m at about 1.9 kwh with mostly highway use (70 mph)
Appreciate you taking the time to update - thank you!
