This truck is amazing Ford killed it with the Lightning. Production has gotten better than MY22 but Ford needs to be better with communication when it's finished being "built" but still on a chip hold. If we had any insight on the status a lot of us would have been a lot less stressed out and more patient.

That being said I've finally had a chance to make it mine. I added my tonneau cover and floor mats from my 2018 F150, added low profile rain guards, tinted the windows and put matte black decals all over! (Ford logos front and back, Charge port cover and dummy side)

I'm happy with the fit and finish with the rain guards. The f150 tailgate decal is on the thinner side it looks good once you apply it but a little difficult to put on than a thicker vinyl and it's not raised like some have posted on this forum

Update: Got my Pro at the agreed price after price lock and private offer. Couldn't take it home yet because the bank I am using couldn't get everything processed yesterday before close of business, so have to wait until Monday. The agony!

I had a conversation ahead of time with the dealer that I posted here.
When I got to the dealer yesterday the first bill of sale they brought out didn’t have the price protection or the private offer. Also had some dealer extras they tried to add like extended warranty/maintenance/ceramic coat.. But as soon as I mentioned the price lock and private offer they reprinted it and I also asked to remove the extras. They got it right but took extra time to get there. Not nearly as straightforward as the Tesla buying experience.

Thanks. I got the built date today so I figured I'd call the dealer to get the ball rolling and of course they said lightnings aren't priced protected. I'll try the steps you took to hopefully get a similar outcome. I unfortunately was subjected to 2 price hikes on my PRO so the msrp on my sticker is $60k...

Picked up the Lightning yesterday. Meets all of my expectations. Great truck.

Big thank you to Jim Burke Ford of Bakersfield and Hector Arreola for smooth delivery. Provided price protection and PCO with no issues or question. Also recieved a mobile charger though I had deleted it from the original order.

Yes shipped on 12/29. I was on chip hold until 12/10 and then it took another 2 weeks to get it shipped out. It’s been a mess. I watched hundreds of trucks get finished and delivered while mine sat. Lost the tax credit and business write off for ‘22.

That’s amazing! I am still fighting with Ford about the mobile charger since their site says it’s included and the spec sheet STILL says it’s included with standard range batteries
