First week of having the Lightning has gone by, and so far I've been endlessly impressed. There's lots of QOL features that for someone like me, coming from a barebones truck previously, was super nice. Remote starting is easy, I do it before jumping in the shower and it's nice and comfortable when I head to work. One pedal drive is a fun lil gimmick but it's new therefor exciting. Lane centering has been massively impressive, as is adaptive cruise control and speed limit recognition. I don't speed unless I'm slowing the flow of traffic, so the above combine to make commutes a breeze. Truck takes care of a significant portion of the work involved. The tall Lariat screen is awesome for navigation, as the new update makes it so your maps can take up 2/3 of the space. PaaK is cool, I still carry my fob since it has physical keys on it but I like that it auto unlocks for me. I wish it would auto lock too, that'd really feel like the future. Walking up to it, it lighting up, mirrors unfolding, and jumping in so far is my favorite flex. Ride is comfortable and super quiet. Engines make more noise than I expected but I like it, right around 20mph they spin up and it sounds cool, like some sort of Sci Fi machine. I used my fordpass for F-150 floor mats from the dealer and they don't click in (holes don't match) so I ended up leaving them over the original floor mats and it looked fine enough. Wireless phone charger works just fine, I connected to my home wifi in the truck and it seems I'm getting updates as I have the most recent YouTube one. UI is intuitive, I do wish I could remove the rather thick bar of apps like owners manual and what not, if I need the manual I'll go find it.

@rio

I see your truck landed on 01/26/2023! Congrats.
Yup, got phone call from dealer and went to take a look this morning. Everything looked good and the sales rep still used the protected price from when I placed order in August ($47k base MSRP before PCO). However, later I get a call from the finance guy with a new price that does not include any protection beyond the original $7k PCO. After pushing back, he's working it up the chain to try to get some answers.... but I'm in a bit of limbo at the moment.

Just got everything worked out with the dealer. Getting my price protection honored and being billed at the original order price! $7000 PCO applies after taxes. Picking up on Thursday.

Ford Order Tracker now shows a status of "Final Preparation" as of today. I'm thinking I should get a call from my dealer soon!

My truck has been sitting at the rail lot in my town for a week. Driving me crazy.

Ford chat made it sound like mine arrived at the Albany, NY rail yard on 01/18 ! Hoping my new status means its on a carrier heading north.

My XLT SR shipped 1/16 (or so my account says). A few days ago I chatted with Ford and it was in a lot in Delaware. I'm just waiting for it to make it's way to NJ. Fingers crossed the stars align and everything works out. Interest rate, price protection, trade, etc etc. I was offered a little over KBB value and I'm moderately ok with that. I'm curious if anyone has gotten their dealer to make any concessions. You know, throwing in any extras. I was hoping I could persuade my dealer to throw in a spray in bedliner. After all they have a "required" protection package for $3k. 7 year warrantied Ceramic coating & fabric protection, window etching, nitrogen filled tires and an extra key. I think they should throw in a spray in bedliner, maybe with some pushing.

Had a FedEx notice a package delivery attempt was made. I think it's my Charge Station Pro. I'm impressed, it made it here in a week and a half after confirming my address.
