The Railroads are going to start shutting down as part of their preparing for the 16th deadline. I don't know when exactly they're storing safely what they have but I hope it moves in the next 12 hours or we're both hanging out in Birmingham.

The press release from N. Southern says they'll start winding down 72 hours before the deadline. We are coming close to that deadline.

I'm positive by nature so I'm thinking it gets to McCalla and yours goes on to new Orleans. Amazing how fast the trains go watching it on the tracker mountains and all!

I just checked on the status of my truck and it's still in Birmingham. Do you think they have shut down or just offloading vehicles like yours and others ?

I've got no inside info. Could be unloading and could be keeping the trains I'm a secured yard. I would think it's possible if they are going to clos and notified shippers, that convoys could take over as well.

Still no movement at 12.15 from Birmingham. Hope we don't get caught up in this railroad strike.

My status changed when I checked at 3;32 PM. It now says No tracing information is available. Here we go again with another problem.

F150 my truck is now in Mc calla , Alabama so your truck was already off-loaded in Birmingham. Making progress.

My truck finally touched down in New Orleans and now the wait for Cooper to unload and deliver to the dealer. Making progress.

I had to beat up my dealership a little bit when I found out the truck landed but they didn't know about it. They got it there pronto after that.

Yes you are right. They called me around lunchtime and told me the truck arrived at the dealership. They are cleaning and prepping it right now and I am waiting for them to call me. Thanks a million for helping all of us on this forum. You kept us half sane.
