Hi F-150 Lightning Owners,

Hard to believe IONNA is turning two already. To celebrate they are doing something pretty cool this weekend.

If you plug in at any IONNA station this Saturday or Sunday (Feb 7-8), pricing is set to a flat $0.20 per kWh all day, including Plug & Charge.

On top of the cheap electrons, a bunch of Ford Electric Vehicle Club chapters are hosting meetups this Saturday at rechargeries across the US. It’s a solid excuse to get out of the house and connect with some local owners.

Here is where the parties are happening:
  • Reynoldsburg, OH (Heads up: members of the Ford Team will be at this one, so come say hello if you're local)
  • Apex & Garner, NC
  • Bradenton & Oviedo, FL
  • Reading, PA
  • Little Rock, AR
  • Parkville & Fenton, MO
  • Rock Hill, SC
  • Vancouver, WA
  • Vista, CA
  • Boerne, TX
You can find the specific times and details for the club events here: https://fordevclubs.org/members/events

And if you want to read up on what IONNA has been up to lately: https://www.ionna.com/blog/ionna-turns-two/

Hope to see some of you out there.

I looked at the ones in CA. Most seem to all be “opening soon” the one in Vista is of course open.

I've got another frigid winter road trip to NH Saturday, might head over to Reading Mass on the way home to take advantage of the $0.20 kWh charging, it's a little off the beaten path of my normal route but worth giving it a shot.

Ionna opened their first station just over a year ago and they already have nearly 100 locations. In November they announced a plan to invest $250M in California in the next three years. They currently have sites with over 1000 stalls under contract in CA. Give them some time.

They have chosen to not have an app and they don’t really need one. All of their chargers have credit card terminals and Ford and a number of other brands can do plug & charge.

Who knew Garner would be the place to be. lol. 7 miles from the Garner location, 20 from Apex, and 16 from N Raleigh. Guess it helps being only 26 miles from HQ. :cwl:

Thanks to Puget Sound Energy, it’s 20¢/kWh at my house ALL THE TIME.

When I am at my home in NW Arkansas, my charging power cost is 5.7¢ per kWh thanks to my EV rate from Ozarks Electric Cooperative. But since I don't have an extension cord that is thousands of miles long - and I do A LOT of long distance traveling in my Lightning - the cost of DCFC on the road is important to me. I appreciate that iONNA's normal rates (36¢ to 39¢) are fair and don't require a membership. And 20¢ is a bargain.

This comment is incomprehensible gibberish. WTF does "if you can get .20 Dcfc great from most it is trash" mean?

Fact: iONNA is providing 20¢ DCFC at ALL its 100 currently open locations all day Saturday and Sunday; at a few sites, it will be free for a limited time.

Fact: I have used iONNA stations in multiple states have found them to be easy to access, reliable, and fairly priced (usually 36¢ to 39¢). The dispensers support Ford plug-and-charge. They also are usually co-located with nice amenities.

The future: iONNA has another 30 sites in construction and expected to open soon. iONNA is on track to have thousands of sites by 2030. In terms of total number of charge ports, it will likely pass EA in the next few years.
