If you don’t want to watch then just skip. I was busy last night so I didn’t watch it either. But I thought it might be helpful for those who plan to tow heavy items.I hate when people post videos with no explanation, not to mention inaccurate titles.
Remind me never to buy a vehicle from this dealer.... idiots....This is a foolish irresponsible stunt
Keep watching… they switch to an ‘estimated’ 17k trailer later. The whole thing is sad, the person in the video obviously didn’t read the manual or do research. No trailer brake controller, he tries to configure the trailer on the screen behind the wheel. You never see them go into the trailer config on the main screen or show the tongue weight on the truck. Also, doesn’t seem to understand how the estimated mileage works. It was all frustrating to watch.uh, no, he said he was towing 10,000lbs... hello.
It is coming in right where I'd expect it to. I have my 22', 14k GVW trailer with which I plan to haul stuff locally. Happy to dump my 6.0L F-250 in exchange for it.It handled the weight surprisingly well consider it was not a max tow or er lightning. Let him so the stupid testing. I figured the Lightning would out perform in towing performance just absolutely suffer in range making it nearly impossible for many people.
I think I can make it work for the occasional tow or buy an old 250 if I need too.
That's most likely their mannequin, probably with ADM, and already spoken for.Remind me never to buy a vehicle from this dealer....
