but seriously, the problem I see coming is what about service? not like there will be 5,000 Slate dealerships across N.America. I wonder if they will partner with another company for service and trouble shooting...anyone know?

They have not yet disclosed who they are partnering with for delivery and service, but have indicated that there will be partnerships for that purpose.
