Awesome work!! Haven’t tried it myself but do you have parallels or crossover for Mac? To run windows applications. I keep an old windows machine for forscan but recently got a new MBP and will be testing in the future.

Love it! Almost exactly what I'd like to do sometime in the near future. I like the stock 20" rims that are on mine, and would like meatier tires with a slight height increase .Any pics of the front from down low to show that skid plate would be great!

I was watching the Electric Viking on YT last nite. I was upset at the new Subaru Trailseeker upper trim level only coming with 20" wheels and tires. Would I benefit in efficiency by going to an 18" rim and tire combo? I appreciate the look of more sidewall with an aggressive looking tire. I also like the look of the stock 20" rims. I wonder if there's an 18" variant. What is the backspacing of the stock 20" rim. I'd like to maintain that if going to 18".

I just bought my son a new Subaru Trailseeker and that thing is awesome! I got the premium package so it came with 18 inch wheels.

You're an awesome dad! Sam Evan's review was really good. I also saw TE's @Aminorjourney 's new video on the Soltera. The lack of a funk is disappointing, but the real deal breakers for me are no glove compartment, and no one-pedal-drive. Those two things, especially for Subaru drivers, are huge inconveniences. Sam said that many EVs don't have glove boxes and that is unacceptable. Storage is necessary. A huge rear cargo area is nice, but a place to hide charging cables and uh, gloves, is nice. That open space under the center console does not count.

Thanks! It was his high school graduation present and I wanted an EV that is really safe and good in the winter. There is charging cable storage under the rear floor in the back. I was also surprised that it didnt have a frunk but there is tons of storage inside. Really happy with the car overall. Super efficient, as my son is getting over 4.2 m/kwh.

That is awesome. I got myself the lightning and Alex got my not-quite-a-beater 2006 Subaru Outback Sedan for his HS graduation! Congrats on our 2026 graduates! Maybe someday I can get mine a newer car. I will never purchase new again. Learned too many lessons with getting my 2024 lightning last august. There are way too many <3 year old EVs out there!
