Any good referrals for finacning? I do know that thre is a local CU that beats any rate by 2 percent, but did not know if someone has something better. I do plan on adjusting my taxes a few months, getting the extra money from the tax credit, and refi again at some point to lower the payments even more.

I would advise you to ensure that you qualify for the full $7,500 tax credit.

- vehicle must be new and never titled (some states require demos to be titled)
- $80k or less, not including destination (off sticker, excludes dealer add-ons)
- Income $150,000 or less individual, $300,000 or less joint
- Tax liability of at least $7,500. This trips up some people, because they don't understand what that means. It's not what you withhold, it's the tax bill you have for your income. On the 2022 return, for most people it's line 16, for some there are some credits that come first. The tax credit for EVs is NON-REFUNDABLE, so if you have tax liability of $5,000, you only get that much tax credit.

Know this BEFORE adjusting your withholding.

Yep...actually did this with another car I had with them. The lender actually told me to just go get another rate so she could beat it.

Not sure if I got a good rate. I told dealer just give me best rate without early payoff penalty, as I plan paying off early (divide by 12). Just financing for credit history.
They actually signed me up with a CU at 4.8%.

Navy Federal Credit Union is as low as 4.54% for 36 months and 4.74% for up to 60 months.

That's a good rate if it was for 72 months.

Ford's standard rate for top tier was 6.9% when I got my '22 Lightning.

I got 84 months at 3.49% at my CU.
