Hello!
I acquired my XLT SR last week. Could not be happier so far! I live in MA and purchased the truck out of state. They mentioned there was a minor "battery management recall" that a dealer in my home area could do. When I look up available recalls by my VIN nothing comes up. Is this a thing I should address? I'm seeing one other thread that someone had it done and it helped. But I also am hesitant to bring it to a dealer (especially my first time bringing it to a dealer) for maintenance if I don't have to. Any thoughts? Is it just a software recall? Thanks!

CSP 23b70 replaces the small BMS monitor on the negative 12v battery cable right behind the panel in the frunk. In many trucks, this module was under-reporting the 12v SOC causing updates to fail. In my case, I got many warnings the battery was low and the CSP cleaned it up.
It's a very easy job and only takes a few minutes. It takes longer to go through the 12v battery test than changing the BMS module. I would recommend getting it done.

Like the others, I suspect they are referring to the customer service program, and that is likely referring to the low-voltage battery sensor. Unless the person speaking knew your VIN And looked it up, he was really just guessing.
Take a look at your FordPass app, or log into your ford.com account, and see what pops up as taxman suggested

You can also check to see if you have the affected part. Open the battery door at the back of the frunk and look at the part mounted on the negative battery terminal. If the part number matches the top photo it needs to be replaced. The bottom photo is the new unit.

And it does look like the part I have currently matches the top photo in the above post. But I'm glad to hear its a simple fix so I shouldn't be nervous having someone do it.

My local dealer reached out to me about it and schedule a mobile tech to do the work. He finished it in the parking lot while I was at work, took him like 15 minutes. If your local dealer has a mobile option that's the way to go.

The B57 one is usually just a software update that only takes a few minutes. They should be able to do both B57 and B70 in less than half a day. Make sure the dealer has the part for B70 in stock and then schedule them both together.

Note that you have two batteries. The 12v battery is also known at the low voltage battery (LVB) and is the one with the quick fix part swap for the monitor. The other is the main high voltage battery (HVB) and that's the one that moves the truck. The CSP you cited is primarily a software update for the HVB and needs to be done by the dealer. They will then run a battery health test to make sure the modules in the HVB are all happy. The update prevents you from being stranded if a HVB module goes bad in the future by allowing you partial power. In the past, it prevented you from diving at all.
