I use my Lightning for commuting a couple times a week, all highway (~140km or 87 miles each way) and generally manage around 3.2 km/kWh (2m/kwh) All highway.
I had to pick up some ceramic tile (1800lbs) today for a washroom reno and was stressed that the drive back of 150km’s would be a challenge and fully expected to get <2km/kWh..
I managed to get the best mileage ever…. 4.7km/kWh or ~3miles kWh.
While I did take my time driving home, keeping at under 100km/hr

BTW, zero issues carrying this load.

A great example of how you cannot trust the data.

What payload does your door sticker show? 1,800 pounds plus you had to be hundreds of pounds over capacity.

Payload doesn't impact efficiency much at steady speeds unless it disrupts aero or you're gaining elevation.

If you charge without turning off the truck the charge will be included in your trip data which is kind of stupid.

Correct. I was more pointing out that it's likely the truck was over capacity by hundreds of pounds. Few people pay attention to that, so it's important to get more recognition of it.

I was responding to the OP's surprise with achieving good efficiency with a heavy payload.

The Lariat ER's payload capacity is less than 1700 pounds so OP was definitely over that.

the truck handled the weight (actual weight was 750 kg) like a champ and within the Ford posted specs.
