I love the Truck - live in a cold part of the Country, drive long distances in areas with limited charging infrastructure with my Standard Range - never going back to fuel - Ever.
2024 and after model has heat pump this makes a huge difference.

I stopped in to speak with a dealer on Saturday and told him that 3 times a week I make a 260km round trip to coach volleyball. He told me that the Lightning was not the truck for me. He told me in this cold weather I would have to charge after the 130km one way just to make it back home (with the extended range battery). He said that is with the temperature just below freezing and the colder it got out the worse it would be. This really put a damper on what I was thinking. Everything I read and all the reviews I watched did not indicate that the F150 Lightning was this bad. Can you all let me know about your real life Canadian winter experiences with your trucks? I was looking at an F150 XLT with the extended range battery.
From summer when we'd regularly see ambient temps around 85F, to current where it's down around 30F, I have seen a documented 35% decrease in efficiency on my commute to work each day. That's a HUGE decrease, and it's not even winter yet. I am afraid to see how bad it gets on those -10F mornings this winter.

In Canada, I would assume the range on Lightning would be pure garbage 75% of the year.

On my 25 ER 80% showed 260-265 of miles left when 75-80 and now that it is 30-40 until mid day sun it shows right at 198.
Both figures are pretty close to actual.

If i had to do anything over 175 R/T I would buy something else.
