Is it possible to charge a Tesla with FCSP? Not looking for hacks but any official adapters that can make this work. Thanks in advance,

Before ordering I'd give them a call and make sure the adapter will do exactly what you want.Is it possible to charge a Tesla with FCSP? Not looking for hacks but any official adapters that can make this work. Thanks in advance,
There is only one official adapter on the market designed for this, the A2Z Thunderstorm Lite. While it looks like the Thunderstorm adapter, it's setup to convert the CCS plug of the Ford Charge Station Pro, which is AC charging, to Tesla. The regular Thunderstorm adapter converts CCS DC charging to Tesla. Is it possible to charge a Tesla with FCSP? Not looking for hacks but any official adapters that can make this work. I know you said that you didnāt want any hacks but this isnāt really a hack. I just purchased a Tesla brand J1772 to NACS adapter and notched the bottom so it would fit my FCSP CCS plug. It only takes a couple of minutes with a dremel tool. Works like a charm and doesnāt reduce the integrity of the adapter at all. Food for thought. Is it possible to charge a Tesla with FCSP? My brother in law has a model x and I just plugged in like I would my truck and it charged like normal. No alterations to the software as far as I know. If Teslas can use a J1772 to Nacs without software changes then this notched adapter works the same way. The DC pins of the CCS plug donāt come in to playSo does the Tesla have to have some sort of a CCS option enabled/installed in it for this to work too?
No. The CCS option is only needed if you want to DC fast charge the Tesla at a CCS1 charger. So does the Tesla have to have some sort of a CCS option enabled/installed in it for this to work too?
Modifying something in a way that is not authorized by the manufacturer is the literal definition of a hack.I know you said that you didnāt want any hacks but this isnāt really a hack.
I understand what you're saying, but taking a saw to the adapter is definitely the definition of a hackI know you said that you didnāt want any hacks but this isnāt really a hack.
