Very interesting that this seems to be available in Sync 4 (12” landscape screen) but not Sync 4A (15.5” portrait screen).

Has anyone seen if this is an option that FORScan can enable in Sync 4A?

Hmmm... I seem to remember although it's been about two years now, that my Premium trim Mach E's 15-inch screen did have this feature as well. My memory might be in error here though...

As the APIM is the APIM, it would seem that the toggle button should indeed be activatable through FORScan. Perhaps tech wizards like Jesse - Infotainment can weigh in...

I don’t recall ever seeing this on my Mach-E or my Lightning. Of course, my memory could be worse than yours!

I've definitely never seen it on my Mach E. The Mach E is also Sync 4A with the 15.5" portrait screen. It also doesn't have an "access" tab.

@Jesse-Infotainment any idea if it’s possible to add this option to the 15” screen in the software?

Here’s a post showing the button on a Mach-E. In 2022.

The following post notes it was removed in early 2023. That may have been the major Sync overhaul that got rid of the large tile option.

Pinnacles campground is privately run. The heat there gets insane in summers so high current charging represents fire risk, ( and reduced profit margin of course). There are chargers you can get to in the area I would think. Anyway your lightning might thank you for not charging at 105F…

Just towed our little camper for the first time with the lightning. I’m happy to say we went 92 miles averaging 70mph and only used 39% of the battery.
This campground has older electric so I’m glad I bought a charger that lets me dial down the amperage. Not trying to cause any problems 😳 so far nobody has said anything.

Keep in mind, if anyone does say something, that the Ford app will remember exactly how much kWh you used. If you offer to pay them at whatever their rate is (or the state average if they don't know), it will be no worse for you than charging at home and possibly smooth things over for other EVs. I think part of the issue is the campgrounds just have no idea how much juice you're using or how much it's costing them.
