Someone on the Mach E forums spotted new Climate Control UIs in a new video from Ford here:

Main things I'm wanting from it is the ability to control the temps via the knob in the middle:

Ford F-150 Lightning Climate Control Updates -- Maybe Soon? 1667587189013

While this is specifically a Mach E video, I'd imagine these changes should propagate to us at some point.

I have yet to touch that dial for anything. Such an odd design choice. If it controlled the fans I bet I'd use it though

I use it quite a bit for volume. Making it multi-purpose is a great step forward, imo.

I'm always the driver and I've got + and - right on the wheel.
Is there an option to just blow outside air in without controlling temp? My last car only did climate controlled air and I didn't like it, now with it costing battery power to heat or cool to the setpoint I would just have to deal with messed up hair from open windows if so.

Turn off AC button. Make sure e-heat is off. Turn up fan.

That’s would be great, unfortunately I think we are several software updates behind the Mach-E, so maybe we will see this sometime next year?

That is something that I miss about my older cars. Twist the temp blend to where you want it and drive. Even off some air would come out about the temp you desired. Our volt and bolt made it difficult to blow a bit of ambient air over the windshield to keep it from fogging (45 degrees but no additional heat desired, just move air over the windshield). The xc90 phev has a heated windshield. My wife drives the xc40 EV and I do my best not to notice how inefficient it is, though it is a pleasure to drive. I wonder if the pro/xlt screen/controls are better for basic temp/airflow control than the lariat/platinum.

At least we can vent the back window and generate airflow with only a slightly open window/moonroof.
