Color of Rear Turn Signals

On the ICE F-150s, I know that Ford has used amber turn signals for some trim levels and red for others. For those who have seen the F-150 Lightning in person, what color is Ford using for the F-150 LightNing? Is it the same for all trim levels or is it different like the ICE vehicles?

To me, straight on, it looks like it is flashing amber, while from an angle it looks red.

I know that FMVSS permits both red and amber for rear turn signals (although I wish the standard was just limited to amber like the rest of the world).

Current generation F-250/F-350/F-450's, the turn signals are amber
Current generation F-150's, the turn signals are red.
The Maverick, Ranger, Bronco, Explorer, I believe they are amber.

The F150 appears to be a mix, with some models having red turn signals and others amber. I cannot figure out the breakdown, but the first two trucks that I looked at on the Koons Woodbridge Ford website had a large clear section rather than being solid red.

Good catch! I certainly prefer amber to red. There is already a lot of red lighting on the back the lightning.

Amber turn signals I prefer over red.

But red has been allowed in the US - mostly to save on costs.

If the Lightning releases in other countries like Europe, they require amber - you can always order a tail light set from Europe...

Unfortunately, the Euro spec light assembly will most likely not work due or the lack of the required FMVSS rear side reflector and rear side marker light. This issue has come up with some other manufacturers such as Volvo where owners have wanted the rear amber turn signals.

Another example at 5:37

Appears to be an XLT without lightbar across the tail. The “white” area seems to be the backup lamps and you can see the whole red part blinking as the turn signal.

Just prior to the “blinking” you can see brake lights on. The part that blinks is the same as brake light so must be red.
