Just a theory here… but since Mach E and Lightning are similar in software, I wonder if this could be the culprit to the delay in shipping of the lightnings? https://apple.news/ApDW1Imu_SySxbbsViMh8KQ

I doubt it. From what I’ve read about this recall they applied the wrong update to a small subset of vehicles. It does reveal a lack of operational maturity in their software engineering department though.
