Apologies if this or a similar question has already been asked...
Got my Lariate ER scheduled for prouction in Feb, but I'm already eager to see what I can be done with wheels and tires. This is what I have in mind in terms of size and dimensions:

Wheel: 20x9 with +18 offset
Tire: 285/60R20

Not trying to do anything wild. Just give it a better stance. My goal is a flush fit with the top of the wheel well, and I think the offset reduction (from +44 down to +18) along with the slightly wide tire should get me pretty close to the mark - probably even a teeny bit of poke, which is okay.

My big question is... will I have to modify the suspension with a level or lift in order for this to work?

Any folks with past insight (or a similar setup) would be appreciated!!

Just put 22x9.5 Vossen wheel with a +20mm offset on the truck. Michelin Defender 275/55R22, no rub.

FYI

No level. 275/65/18. It is a lariat ER. Yes, it is time for a wash. It was snowing/raining on the way in to work.

Nice - I may go with a +20 offset wheel like you did. Do you have any photos showing how the tire lines up with the fender?

Here's another somewhat related question to those of you who have swapped out wheels/tires...
What did you do with your OEM equipment? Sell on ebay or something? I'm curious if there is demand for these kinds of items when they have very little wear.

Still in the garage. My 18s have winter tires. They went in in mid November and will come off in late March or early April (along with all of the other household cars).

Off topic but what size parking mat is that? Great idea to corral all the snow and crap when parking. Runs everywhere.
