Make sure you guys check to make sure the dealer does a thorough PDI. In my excitement to take delivery I didn’t check much.

I don’t want to go back to service or spend more time at the dealer are these easy enough to remove myself?

It looks like they started and then just left them on there.

I'm sure there's a bunch of other stuff they didn't install on those demo chassis.

Or maybe that was the chassis demo for the XL version of the Lightning  that doesn't have all the anti-squeak perks that you have?

Get out from under there and go drive the thing....

Lmao 🤣🤣, it’ll have over 1k miles in less than 7 days…. And after finding a couple of loose plastic rivets I continued to look around at what else was going on. Truck is awesome though.

Thanks for the help!

Where did you find these loose plastic rivets?

In the Frunk, I think during PDI they accessed components and left a few laying around
Oh my, and your dealer gets PAID to do the PDI from Ford - geesh!

Yeah, exactly but to be honest I am not pissed. I just wanted the Truck before some new salesman sold it by “accident”.

I’ve never seen blue on suspension so I was thinking it was part of the shipping package, but I have my answer now. Time to keep adding accessories lol

@F150ROD subject change...IIRC was Kearny Mesa Ford your dealer? If yes....

How were they? As promised, no ADM and no dealer add-ons etc? Were they kind, fast, efficient in delivery? Any other notes you'd be willing to share? TIA.

There was no ADM, there was a dealer add-on that I tried to dispute which in the end cost me $795. 3 hours with my own financing.

Online Sales/Salesman were awesome

Financing is a different story.

Pretty much Tesla does it the way it’s supposed to be. Even with my years of buying Ford it made no difference in dealing with financing. At the end of the day it was another exhausting experience when it should have been in and out. I’ll write more about my gripes. For the most part it was great but not what the internet says.
