I have no tab or tax info for 2025. Nowhere in my account is there a drop down for 2025.

I'm back home on a desktop now. I see what you mean that there is not a dropdown for 2025 on your page.

Here is what I see on mine. The Tesla Dealer input the sale on the portal and it populates on mine.

@Hammick

Ask the dealer for the form 15400 that they are required to give you. If they can't produce it then is is likely that they didn't register the deal on the IRS Portal.

You posted screenshots of tax year 2024. Click the drop down and look at Tax Year 2025., not 2024

The drop TAB for this is dynamic, if there is no report you won't see the sub group.

Yup, but I'm pretty certain they dropped the ball and DID NOT file the report.

The GM told me they don't file anything with the IRS for customer tax credits for liability reasons. He did state they file all the time to get transfered credits for the dealership on used EVs. He is checking with the appropriate department to see if they can make an exception. I don't expect to hear back from him. I will be sending a letter soon that I'll have no choice but to sue them in small claims court if they don't file the appropriate form by 12-31-25.

Hell it may be too late. I haven't seen anything indicating that the portal is still open after 9-30-25.

Both my sales guy and the sales manager assured me they would file the appropriate form and I have an email from my sales guy that the forms were completed.

This is a major PITA as we will have to file our return manually and then appeal to preserve our right to sue. Actually I'll probably sue while the appeal is pending. Thankfully Denver small claims trials are by videoconference. I can always dismiss it and refile if the appeal becomes an issue with the Judge.

If I get a chance to speak with the GM again I'm going to ask if they can cut me a check for $7,500 and I'll transfer the credit to them. 100% certain he will tell me to pound sand.

I haven't practiced law since 2018 and I'm staring to get reinvigorated. That GM has poked the bear. I wish I could sue the dealership for my time and effort and depose that jackass for an entire day and make his life miserable :crackup:

As far as I know, the reporting system is one and the same...... WTF again, push another series of buttons to get into original sales reports instead of qualified used vehicles, those folks are morons !

By now, the original sales section is probably locked down to only take revocation of sales notices (folks who back out after the fact).
