Sounds impressive. I'm still hoping that EA's little brother, Electrify Canada, would at least add garbage cans to their sites so you don't have to walk ten minutes to throw out something.

Oh well, I guess that counts as something to do while charging.?

They are just following in Tesla's footsteps, modeled after the Kettleman City Lounge; SF is dense with buildings, so it was easier to find an old warehouse to retrofit than surface parking lot space that non EV's would clog up. I don't see it showing up in the EA app yet, I'm sure there will be a door code or using NFC for access

This is downtown SF. I don't think that's their primary use case.

While I like the idea of local restrooms, snack options, and otherwise having all chargers 'out of the elements', I wouldn't see myself 'lounging' in a room packed with other folks, or certainly trying to 'park' anything other than a 'compact' EV... why these spaces were'nt 'angled' is beyond me...

That looks like Charging Nirvana. It’s even upscale to the Mercedes charging stations currently rolling out.

Trouble will be to keep them from
being vandalized and keeping undesirables from hanging out there.

Now if they could afford to keep a full time attendant on site it might be a real destination. ?

I like how they are thinking. If you are going to have 25% of the stations operational at any time, just have more of them in one place. Of course if you have enough ID4s and Beamers with free charging, 5 out of 20 may still be insufficient. Kidding aside it is good to see EA is fighting back when superchargers are about to open.
