I think a lot of the time talking while driving could be trimmed. But a lavaliere mic that so many are using now seem to be a prerequisite for good vlogging. Loving your vids tho! Thanks for the feedback. Is it when I am speaking that needs better audio?
How easy is it to get that on and off?Scout Olympic.
Sleeps five with the rooftop tent, six if some are kids.
Added Timbrens to the rear to help with sway. Been in some crazy winds and its more stable than my VW Van.
Average about 1.5 kW if I keep it around 55
It has its own solar setup but great to have the truck for larger electrical loads.
Thats a great point!Great for camping but my learned tip is if you’re going camping in an oak forest in the fall, bring a tarp or a padded truck cover for your hood because acorns hitting your hood will both scare the heck out of your dog and probably leave a few dents.
Super easy actually, jacks attach to all 4 corners and lift it off the bed like most typical truck campers. Prob 15 minutes. How easy is it to get that on and off?
Not at all. The forest roads were in great shape. The road to that campsite was a bit tight but I fit no problem. I highly recommend that campsite. Make sure you book it ahead of time online. DM me if you want anymore information about that area. I am happy to share.Love the video!
I just got my Wildfinder hardshell and a 270 canopy to do what you are doing, cannot wait! I am in SE PA and was looking at that same location.
D
id you find the canopy snagged on anything with those tight backroads in the woods?![]()
Ok that I am very interested in. I have been looking at the decked system but it’s just so expensive. Looking forward to seeing it.You mentioned “organizing” your camp kitchen…I am going to try and recreate the “chuck wagon” box my father and I built for the back of our suburban when I was young…it would be slightly less tall and with built in’s for an electric induction stove and coffeemaker -ideally a framed setup with drawer like slide outs to bring it out to the tailgate section.
Share your frustration with the ProPower situation. Totally need camp mode.
Yes, a fix of the PPO power off would be nice, but the work around is so easy. I'm not holding my breath to get Ford to fix it..Also fix the PPO please!
