Do you have any locations in or near Toronto? I see a number of tire shops in the area with 'discount' in their name, but I don't believe they are affiliated with you.
We're hoping to get a deal through the dealer on a set of EV-rated winter tires for the F-150 we've ordered, but our 2017 Ford Focus Electric will be in need of a new set and are shopping around now. If we end up going elsewhere for the F-150, we'll probably go with who we bought the FFE winters from.
The winters we currently have now are not EV-rated and we see a drop of range of about 15-20% when we switch in the fall. I expect that the softer rubber used in winter tires would contribute to some loss of range, but not this much.
The increase in noise compared to our EV-rated all season tires is huge. Also, non-EV tires wear faster on an EV, and the winters on our FFE in the middle of their sixth winter is more than our ICE Focus had after seven winters.
