How do I reset the low tire warning?

With cold weather hitting, my tire pressure dropped a couple lbs. One tire was 2 lbs less than the others so I added 2 lbs, and now it’s the same. All have been at 34lbs for a few days but the one tire warning light is still on. On my other cars it just goes off after driving a bit… not in this case.

Can I do anything to turn it off?

Best I can suggest is get all of your tire pressures at their rated psi range and follow the below reset procedure if your truck doesn’t do so auto after driving it for ~20 min……

I don't think any spec lightning recommends 34 psi. You might just still be low enough to set off the warning.

If I remember correctly
18" wheels 36psi
20" wheels 36psi All-Terrain tires, 42 psi All-Season
22" wheels 42 psi

I would be surprised if you are supposed to be at 36 and 34 is setting it off, though. That's a very picky tpms if so.

Since no Lightning specs a 34psi pressure t looks like he is referring to a Bronco based on his avatar.

The only way to reset the tire warning is to get the pressure past the low threashold that triggers the warning. IIRC, that is 10% lower than what the normal pressure is on your door jamb sticker.

If you have your pressure that high, then it's possible you have a bad sensor and need to schedule a service appointment.

Ok. Resolved. I totally spaced, thank you for the level set… my lightning came under pressured at 35lbs per tire. When one dropped with the cold weather it finally tripped the low pressure sensor. I’m aired up to 43 and all is good now.
