Not bitter at all, I do think we will be late 20's before we see a heavy duty Lightning though as towing is a lot more critical in that segment. The thing is going to be heavy and a brick so unless we see some improvement in efficiency i do think the battery will have to be big. That may not be an issue in the future though as ford moves to 800v or even matching tesla at 1000v charging architecture.

I have no reason to doubt that the tabless cells and better chemistry that’s already being tested will bring us to far better power and range. I can totally see a 500 mile F250 in 10 years & at the same price points (with inflation) that we’re seeing today in less than ten years. More than 5 perhaps, but less than 10 certainly.
