Fingers crossed Ford gets around to adding this to the Lightning. The truck does already have pre-conditioning right?

Even for when it's cold outside, I'd just like a mode where I could leave the window cracked, lock the doors, and not have my dog trigger the alarm. Full climate control for the dog, even better.

For now I go into the Settings and override the 30-minute shutoff if I need to go in to the grocery store. It still makes me a bit nervous, but pup Rory has happily slept every time so far. I'm not usually in more than 30-minutes either though.

it’s become so glitchy and unreliable for me - it does not accurately display if the truck has turned on, off, etc.

Legacy auto seems to struggle with this. I drive an Audi EV and my wife drives a Volvo EV. Both apps leave much to be desired. It seems like Tesla is the only one to get it right.

until they figure it out, it’s one thing to provide an app that purports to start the car; it’s another thing to delete the key fob starter to force adoption of the app.

I can just hear the investors calls writing themselves: “we’ve discovered tremendous customer uptake of our mobile app by BEV buyers, promising future app-based revenue streams….”

meanwhile, their data shows me logging in three times only because it crashed twice…

That’s exactly what I was thinking. The ‘Ford account’ had me DM them directly about the app/remote functions not working. Still no solution though. I’m just gunna give up. Sucks cause it’s such an essential part of a modern car, especially an EV.
