Pay close attention to the details for which our Lightning BEV's might qualify.
GVWR is just above the threshold for vehicle class 2b rating if your truck has an ER battery

Massachusetts buyers, take a look at your build sheet, does it show the 8550# GVWR Package?

I hope it does as your truck needs to show 8501# or more to qualify for the MORE-EV-TRUCKS REBATE of $7500

What you see here is a Lariat-ER with Max Tow Package.

I know you scored a PRO with SR battery, have you considered bumping up to XLT-ER or Lariat-ER, those models would qualify you for the Mass MOR-EV-Truck credit which is worth $7500, but spending a lot more on the truck to get it needs to be considered as well.

I have not received a reply to my inquiry with the MOR-EV-Trucks folks, regarding if the F150 Lightning will qualify, but IMHO is should as the specifications are right on the border for our trucks with some qualified with MAX TOW and others not!!

I hope your build specifications on your order sheet or the Window Sticker say 8550#, as discussed above., if it does not then you definitely will not, if it does join me in fighting for it, it's a huge value to me and will help with my home electrical upgrades.

Funny thing is, I have seen variations on the window stickers here are two examples of Lariat-ER without the MAX TOW, one shows 8550 the other 8400!

Any news? I'm still of the opinion that they'll exclude the F-150 but my order sheet does list the "8550# GVWR" so I'm definitely going to claim it if I can.

No reply yet, I think it's going to take one of to be the first applicant, I might submit a tentative application if that's allowed pending final delivery, I have the ordering build sheet, but still waiting for the window sticker, I figure that will be enough to start the process then, update with final sales agreement and proof of registration & application for title RMV-1

I e-mailed a few weeks back and got a response. The application can't be started until you receive delivery.

I believe some of the heavier trucks in higher tiers can start the process if there is a purchase agreement.

Also, our VINS are nearly identical. I wonder if they are batching by state to make the shipping process easier. Our builds are the same except for the color.

Seems like the only consistent difference in trucks with the lower GVWR is the option for AT tires - which, of course, is what I chose.

My mods popped today (I think that's what the cool kids call it); the VIN didn't change, so I assume that means I still have AT tires, 8,400 GVWR and therefore no Mass rebate. But at least there's one less open spot in the Rouge parking lot.
