I used to make a habit of clearing off as little snow as possible, and driving down the street to get a car wash every time it was covered in snow.

It worked pretty good. Now I have a garage.

Originally I wondered the same thing but I actually find that the snow clears off really easily since it never melted onto a hot hood in the first place.
