I just noticed a piece of black plastic trim is missing on the passenger side of my truck, just in front of the rear wheel.
Photo of the driver's side with trim shown on the right.

I've only had the truck for about a month. I checked the photos I had from the day I bought the truck: the trim was there. Now it's gone.
Has anybody else had this piece pop off? I have a hunch that the terry-cloth-towel folks at the carwash stepped on it. But I'll never know.

Not sure I'll order a new one, but if the go the route of ordering a new one, is there advice on connecting it better so I don't lose it again? Is this common?
