You sent a TestFlight screenshot today but the report is anonymous so I have no way to help you. Under the screenshot is an optional field for an email address, please fill out or include contact info in the feedback where you did leave your name.

Basic rules:
1. Make sure Car Scanner or other app is not connected to your MX+
2. Make sure the MX+ is connected in the Bluetooth settings
3. Open Pankuzu, got to Settings, Debugger and view the log
If the last line is
.error(No protocol 'com.obdlink')
You never connected so go to #4

4. Enable some other logging options like Packets and Info in the Logging disclosure group, tap the arrow to see thse
5. Unplug and replug your MX+ an view the log

Once connected you will see a continuous stream of communication with the MX+, if not the log is our friend.

Can I use an OBD splitter. Use two doogls and use PANKUZU and ABRP?

I go with no as two devices would be talking on the single CAN bus and seeing responses they didn’t send.

Correct, the connection is pretty dumb in that sense so you'll run into conflicts.

I have run a Raspberry Pi4 with a CAN bus hat and the MX+ on a splitter but only in a CAN bus sniffing mode where the MX+ does all the heavy lifting and the PI4 just logged the bus traffic.

If ABRP has an API to report SoC and have it update in the app then it can go on some sort of to-do list.

Traffic volume? The OBDII CAN buses have no traffic unless requested by the scan tool, so about 10 messages per second is what I typically see.

Looking forward to using this on my road trip starting tomorrow! Set it up and used it around town today and seems to work a splitter - Veepeak to my iPad mini for live dashboard and MX+ to my old iPhone for this. Wish it would iCloud sync so that I can leave an old iPhone in the car to log but then explore and view the data on my main phone.

Good luck with the splitter, two options for a live dashboard with Pankuzu. Trips and charges update so if open a trip in progress you can it’s details.

The lock screen has a Live Activity that shows some basic info including your headwind/tailwind status.

And it can sync to iCloud so you can see the data on multiple devices on the same iCloud account but it disabled. I want to add support for CloudKit sharing so multiple vehicles on different iCloud accounts can collaborate using a shared database.

Sorry but OBDLink MX+ is required.

Would love to hear if any has an OBDLink LX as it looks like it should work and is less expensive but it lacks support for the Ford MSCAN bus. I currently don’t pull any data from the MSCAN bus but you could miss out on future features requiring modules that reside there.

Not showing live stream on locked screen. Live activity is on for locked screen. Lock screen widgets are on. Notifications are on for PANKUZU locked screen. IOS 26.3 on 16-PRO. Am I missing something?

I doubt it, something I added but don’t use since I don’t have a phone holder in the vehicles.

Maybe some sort of regression but there Is a Live Activities filter control for the log you can turn on and see if it is throwing any errors.

I wish @Ford Motor Company would make the data of the truck more accessible via API. All of this data is available there and since my OBD II port is already in use I cant use any of these apps.

Wow this an awesome idea for an app! Does it only work on iOS26? I’m still chugging along on iOS18 on my 14promax but would love to try it out! Very new to the MX+ world but drive about 400 miles a week with an elevation change of 6,000 feet and would love to see the data on my trips.
