Great question and one I'd like to know as well. I've been looking at the same tire because of its weight (48 lbs).

Pirelli is offering a $70 MasterCard when you buy 4 before 12/1/22.

Whenever my stock OEM tires need to be replaced, I always look for run flat tires (RFT).

Has saved us many times when a tire gets a flat on the road being able to drive it at lower speeds to the tire shop.

Have had RFT from Gen 1 to current generations from my BMWs, Mercs, Land Rover, etc..

My recent replacement was on my wife's PHEV that used LRR Eco tires and replaced with Yokohama Envigor RFT +1 size up.

Lost 10% range in doing that but safety is top and most important.

I dunno, thereā€™s a full size spare. Run flats seem unnecessary.

Agree, but in the past even with a spare, I have had undesirable run ins with 2 legged predators looking to rob or steal on the side of the road...

I'd rather have run flats on all my vehicles so that you can still drive further ahead to a tire shop that can do the spare replacement or fix the RFT.

Especially important for female drivers in my house.
