I was wondering about people’s price to charge your lightning at home?

What is your lowest rate per kilowatt?

I pay 14¢ in British Columbia.

$.05 on paper, in reality it’s $.13 after taxes and fees in Minnesota with off peak 9pm-9am M-F, and all weekend.

In Ontario Canada on the ULO plan $0.039 but I get $0.03 back from Grizzl-E so net $0.009
or $0.0064 USD Only solar would better working on that as well.

There is no price per kW for most customers here. They will move you to a demand charge plan once you're hitting 40kW for 15 minutes or more regularly. Then there's a $17/kW charge for the highest 15 minute window in any particular month. And there is a ~$0.06/kWh energy charge on top of that.

But OP was probably meaning to ask about the _kWh_ cost for a residential customer to charge. That's about to be $0.11/kWh 2100 to 1559 and $0.25/kWh 1600 to 2059 daily.

Both demand and non-demand rate plans have an access charge on top of that.

So I'm able to charge my truck for the equivalent of ~$1.40/gallon gasoline roughly.

Have the standard residential plan here with duke energy which is .12/.13/kWh depending on season. Ends up being roughly .15/kWh at home just averaging it out. When charging at my parents', it ends up being a good bit higher since I had a separate meter installed and the idiots put it on a small general service instead of residential which has a base customer charge of $22 instead of $14. Due to the lower kWh used to average across, it's almost .30/kWh. Finally got Duke to admit to being idiots and switched it to residential TOU which should make the bill about $20 cheaper each month. Discount period is only .07/kWh which should make it closer to .20/kWh including taxes and fees.

Found a plan that looked nice @.04/kWh until I realized they get you with the demand charge. Running my FCSP @80 amps would result in a bill over $120 which is about double the TOU rate. Still not the greatest rate but most of my charging will be done for free at work. If they're making me go to the office, they might as well pay for it.

Plus the delivery and regulatory charges, i figure it nets out about 0.079 (with the new ULO at 0.039/kWh, up from 0.028)
With the Grizzl-E Club 3-centkWh credit, should average out closer to 0.049 now.

I highly recommend the solar route, as long as you have the space.

Very true I did not account for the evil delivery and regulatory charges.
I do have small solar setup 1.4 kWh of pannels and a ECOFLOW Delta Pro Ultra with 12 kWh of batteries it keeps the house going until I plug in the Lightning to a 10 circuit transfer switch.

The Grizzl-E club payment is pretty close to the delivery and reg charges together, so you can land close to just the cost of the energy.
