I’m a new owner but looking at the “similar threads“ list below this thread, It looks like this was in older versions of the app a year or two ago and they finally managed to put it back in again?

I haven’t had a chance to test Pro Power yet.

That’s correct. You could also do zone lightning controls too but that is still missing after removal.

Finally! @Ford Motor Company
Works perfect perfectly on my 2022 Pro

Now can we get zone lighting in the app as well as pro power with the truck off!?

@Ford Motor Company PPO in the app as well as the Zone lighting without powering up the truck would be great additions. However with the latest updates on my 24 Flash I only get failure to return to previous power mode and frequent lapses into battery saver mode for no apparent reason. Hope you are intending to fix these issues on the next OTA update in a timely fashion instead of the usual Bi-annual response.

I saw the ProPower show up in the APP on my Android tablet a week or so ago, but....there seems to be something strange going on.

My truck is off, the APP says ProPower is off, but then I get a message that ProPower encountered a ground fault.

What?

So I go to my truck, get in, turn it on and look at ProPower, no fault shown, ProPower is OFF, a random glitch? How could it encounter a ground fault if it was OFF in the first place - was it ON? I did not intentionally turn it ON and nothing was plugged in to the PPOB outlets either? Go figure.

Then another day I get a message that having ProPower ON when the truck is OFF will drain the battery (or something like that)...so I get in the truck, turn it on, check ProPower and it is ON. Did I accidentally turn it ON from the APP? I don't think so. So I turn it OFF.

Another day: during the time a charge session should be running, I check the APP, it tells me 'the FCSP has a fault, check the manual and the truck' (or something like that), so I look at the FCSP, it has a white LED lit, so I go to the house breaker, turn it off then on a minute later, the FCSP now has the blue light.

I get in the truck to confirm the charging, it says 79% (my stop level is set to 80%) so I raise the charge level to 90% to confirm the FCSP is working. Then I check the ProPower and once again, it has turned ON all by itself! WTF? I turn it OFF.

The FCSP is charging so I turn off the truck and go back inside - very cold out at 2AM and I am in PJs, lol.

It seems that around the time the FordPass APP got updated to the FORD APP, I lost the connection to the FCSP through that APP.

I can still connect using the FCSP SetUp APP, but not through the FORD APP, at least not last night after the reset.

So now I can't get the details from the FCSP about the charge session or adjust the MAX current.

It seemed it was charging normally last night once reset - max was previously set to 48A, it was charging at around 37A and had ramped up from 35A while I was watching it, according to what the FORD APP told me about the charge session - below 80% it usually charges at 42A, and there may have been some preconditioning going on before ramping up towards the max current, it was in the 20's outside.

It was a real pain in the butt getting the FCSP into the FordPass with the old software when I first tried after installing it in June 2024, But then an update happened last year to the software and firmware that allowed me to finish the set up and get the FCSP into the FordPass APP,

Now I may be back to square one with that.

And the ProPower seems to be turning itself ON randomly when the truck is OFF...

Still a few bugs in the system here at me house anyway...

Stale data in the cloud stuck in the notification queue, it's happened in the past, it'll happen in the future.

Been a long long while since I last used ProPower to test my transfer switch back in...June 2025 I guess when I had a ground fault shut-off due to one circuit neutral I had wrong.

The default is to turn on PPOB when the truck is ON, but I'm sure I always turn the truck OFF...so that is really old data!

The thing that really bugs me is the FCSP no longer being accessible through the Ford APP.
It just bring up a black screen if I hit the charge station, which becomes a white screen quickly, then nothing.

I can still access the FCSP with the FCSP setup APP, but it won't open with the new FORD APP, dang it!

I even considered setting it all up all over again, groan.

Trying to connect using the setup app goes like this: I am logged into the FORD app already, it's on the same wifi channel (2.4G) as the FCSP and my tablet, then get to the step of connecting to Fordpass, "make sure that you're logged in to your FordPAss account before you continue" it says - I am. So then I hit connect, then a white screen, and nothing just like trying to connect from the FORD app.

The FCSP setup app doesn't open the FORD app to continue the process.

Is it still looking for FordPass and can't find it?

I wonder if there is some setting in the new FORD app or in the FCSP setup app I need to change to allow it to continue?

I went from June 2024 to sometime in 2025 using the FCSP without it being in FordPass until a software update let it work due to a different problem.

Anyone else lose connection between their FCSP and the new FORD app?
Can I roll-back to the FordPAss app?

Alas, always something.

Ha, I hear ya!

I can live without the energy use/charging details, one less thing to catalog and analyze...but controlling the MAX current was something I will miss.

I look at app permissions for the FORD app and didn't see anything relevant, to err is human, to really screw up, you know the rest...
