Some of you have mentioned you may just get the Chevy Silverado EV instead. I received this email form Chevy today:

Silverado EV reservations open Jan 5th

The email also has the statement that "Availability will be announced 1.5.22"

I don't plan to jump ship. But I will reserve a spot on that ship as well and see which ship comes in first.

GM has had their Jan 5 CES keynote on the books for months. Ford is timing things to steal as much press as possible from GM. Totally agree with this strategy.
