Until this is released, I think I need to work up some hack device in Fusion 360 that can press the button without jamming a penny in and enable me to enable/disable the press as needed. It’ll be fugly but I hope not needed for that long

I mean this works but much easier to put a small weight on the wheel then you don’t have to touch anything.

I tried a 3lb one with a Velcro strap and tbh it was work to get it attached then it would flop around. I figured there has to be a better weight. Somehow attach easier. Maybe 3 is too much too

I think it’s more like a 1lb weight or so that’s needed.

I had a 1lb ankle weight that worked most of the time but then seems some update made it a bit more finicky. Ended up going the expensive route with the Comma and haven't looked back

Can’t recommend Comma enough. I have a C4 on my 23 ER Lariat, & installed a C4 in my GFs 21 Atlas a week ago. Way better than BlueCruise & SuperCruise. Not as good as FSD, but now with Chestnut, I think they’re getting much closer.
Chestnut seems like a huge mistake for any normal person. A desktop graphics card in a PCIe slot in my vehicle driving a car, what could go wrong. Personally as an EE, I love it, but for the normal person, no freaking way. All I can think about is how for the last month straight it's been 130degF in my truck everyday when I come out of the office for lunch. A video card trying to power up in that, LOL.

This looks like a very interesting project. The board you are using looks like it has a lot of potential.

I wonder if it would be able to detect the plus and minus button presses on column shifter that are non-functional when installed in a Lightning. I would be interested in attempting to re-purpose those buttons to adjust Predictive Speed Assist or drive mode.
