Test Messages reading the date and time. How do I stop that?

In my Lightning, when I receive text messages and ask them to be read through Sync, they are starting out with speaking the date and time received to me. This does not happen in my Mach-E and for the life of me I cannot find the particular setting to just have the text messages read without including the time and date in them. Does anyone happen to know what I would need to do to turn off the reading of the time and date?
